Even if it's a fangame, getting the severance ending in this game felt like taking a huge weight off my back, knowing what happened to Giygas in Mother and Earthbound. Giygas had plenty of problems, but they deserved a far better fate.

I don't know how I did it but I defeated him in My level 60 with larice berserk, coronel as support with speed and attack up later he attacks, alinivar with empower whenever I could and zarbol with shields, It took less than 10 minutes, and I was in hard mode.

zarbol has 200PP in this video, which requires 4 AA batteries (each one gives 25PP) but the community at large is only aware of 3 AA batteries. WHERE IS THE 4TH BATTERY????? WHERE IS IT????????????????? I MUST KNOW.

i made it to chapter 6 in cogdis and got the 7th power point and got to that part of giving greyface the apple but for some reason after i got back to playing it again so i can get the apple but I lost the save file ( i saved in the game but never deleted the file so too bad for me) but Luckly i have another save file on the end of chapter 5 so

So... in this ending, the horror of Giygas cannot be prevented. That's fair. But that doesn't have to mean Giygue is doomed. He and Niiue can retreat to a timeline where they can heal from all this nonsense. Maybe even reunite with Maria down the line. As for Giygas... that'll be another story for another time. But, we know four plucky kids who can handle this mess.

I consider the Hard Mode ending the True Ending of Cog Dis.

I know you made this a long time ago, but THANK YOU for making a hard mode walkthrough. I was completely stumped on the puzzle at 9:53. I was getting really worried that I'd be stuck, so thanks!!!!

The montage of Giegue in the playroom is so wholesome. You almost forget what he becomes later on (both this game and in the timeline).

When I played through the game the music in the ship was different. And before you ask yes I was playing the latest version of this game

I love how Porky (spoilers?) knows full and well that Ness and his friends will end up winning, but in order for Porky to get where he is, he has to ensure Giegue turns into Giygas. And the thing that makes him finally snap? The Apple of Enlightenment. It wouldnt surprise me if Porky approached Giegue with this information that the Apple was his key to ensuring he wins. So really Porky is responsible for Giygas. And further, he already knew Alinivar and his friends would succeed in their ultimate mission. Because he remembers Zarbol from the mountain where Ness and him met Buzz Buzz. So even when he is fighting them, hes just buying time for something else to occur or to pose as a threat to get their attention. And after this battle in this room, thats the last time Porky sees the Applechasers. Giygas has the Apple and thats all he needed to ensure happened so that he could end up free of the causality loop and he could begin in earnest the rest of his plans. Giygas has no clue who Porky is. And doesnt seem to know that when Porky comes from Ness's time roughly during or after the Stonehenge base mission that he and the Grayface are the same person. Or hes so fixated on fighting Alinivar he doesnt notice. But how does Porky know to go to Giygas? And isnt that still magicant? Did Giygas turn the cave that time forgot into the cave of the past? Is the Cave of the Past a physical manifestation of Giygas magicant leaking out into reality? So when Giegue built his devils machine in magicant to separate Niiue fully from him, that came out into reality? And was Giygas in Porkys time able to give him the ability to travel not only forward in time but also into his magicant? Or was it the fact that Giygas magicant was in reality so Porky just had to time travel within that location to get to Giegue in his magicant in the future? After all, Porky was given a device to install in the past to ensure Giygas was invincible and was ordered to never turn it off. Why did he turn it off? Just because Ness and co were beating up on him first? He was scared and jus through Giygas could rip through them? Or maybe Grayface was also involved in the past and left messages behind for his past self to ensure he would get to where he needed to go. Then Master Porky in the cave of the past was really feeling like the master Giygas. Porky turned off the Devils Machines because Giygaw was a force he couldn't get rid of and he got everything he needed from. So Ness and friends were really just a means to over throw Giygas and set him free. Now no one would stand in his way across time. Ness would go back and thing all was well except some ominous note from Porky. I wonder what he ended up doing with Ness after this? Anyway all this to say Porky is the real hero

Well in Japan, he's always called Gyiyg regardless of his form in the Mother series. To make up the difference, I would call the Giygas form "Shin Gyiyg", as in his transcending form.
